Proof of work

Selected case studies

Three projects showing the initial problem, my ownership and the measurable result.

Neverless

Lead Product Engineer

Challenge
A slow public website and internal processes that depended heavily on manual work.
Ownership
I first took ownership of website performance, then independently built an internal system from the interface through to the APIs.

Revolut

Senior Software Engineer

Main website

Challenge
Revolut's main website served 4M+ monthly users across 80K+ pages, but it was slow and had strict regulatory requirements.
Ownership
I was responsible for frontend performance and for keeping the changes compliant with GDPR and accessibility requirements.
Solution
I optimised critical loading and rendering paths across the website.
Impact
4M+ MAU, 80K+ pages, 75% lower load time, 45% lower TTI
Stack and scope
React, TypeScript, frontend architecture, performance

Revolut Credit

Challenge
Lending journeys for 100K+ customers, together with the internal tools used by the product team.
Ownership
I owned the complete frontend scope across customer applications and internal systems.
Solution
I built the interfaces and a shared React component library for internal tools.
Impact
99.97% availability, 97.8% test coverage, 30% faster feature delivery, 30% fewer defects
Stack and scope
React, TypeScript, Kotlin, internal tools, automated testing

Experience

Lead Product Engineer

I work at the boundary between product and engineering: clarify the problem, choose the architecture, build the solution and own its performance and reliability.

What I bring

  • Product engineering

I turn unclear requirements into released features, from interface design and APIs to production rollout.

  • Frontend architecture

I design React, TypeScript and Next.js applications and design systems that help teams move faster.

  • Performance

I measure LCP, INP and CLS, find bottlenecks and verify improvements with field data.

  • AI tooling

I ship AI features, introduce developer assistants and run focused experiments before scaling an idea.

  • Backend systems

I build APIs and services with Node.js and Nest.js, and work with Java and Kotlin when the product requires it.

  • Team leadership

I establish code review practices, mentor engineers and create a clear path from development to release.

About me

About me

Hi, I'm Dmitrii.

I'm a Lead Product Engineer at Neverless. I take product work from problem definition to production: shaping the solution, building the frontend and backend, setting up the infrastructure and owning the release.

I am also the lead organiser of MoscowJS, a JavaScript community that has held 63+ meetups. Outside work, I follow AI and investing, take photographs, read about history and astronomy, and run.
